Lentils readily absorb the flavours of the ingredients they are cooked with, making them super versatile. Black beluga lentils hold their shape well during cooking, so they’re great for salads and pilafs.
TO COOK: Rinse. Add 1 cup of lentils to 4 cups boiling water. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until tender.
